Visit BOEM at OCEANS 2018 in Charleston, South Carolina

BOEM will have a booth at OCEANS 2018 in Charleston, South Carolina focusing on the use of current and emerging technologies and data systems in BOEM's Environmental Studies Program. Environmental Sciences Chief Rodney Cluck will moderate a panel on Oct. 24 on the RODEO study (Real-time Opportunity for Development Environmental Observations) for the Block Island wind farm, and join another session with NOAA Assistant Administrator Craig McLean regarding opportunities for private sector research partnerships with NOAA and BOEM. Chief Environmental Officer Bill Brown will participate in a Town Hall panel on Oct. 24 with senior officials from NOAA, NSF and ONR on the future of the federal oceanographic fleet.
