New 100-Meter Wind Resource Maps from WINDExchange
Using modeled wind resource estimates, the U.S. Department of Energy’s National Renewable Energy Laboratory produced new 100-meter wind speed maps to provide a general indication of good or poor wind resources for an area. See them now for Texas-Louisiana-Mississippi, North Carolina-South Carolina, and Alabama-Florida-Georgia.
