National Offshore Wind Strategy Released
Offshore wind energy has the potential to provide the U.S. with a clean, abundant, domestic energy resource. Once built, offshore wind farms could produce energy at low, long-term fixed costs, which reduce electricity prices and improve energy security. Working together, the Department of Energy and Department of Interior produced this updated national strategy to facilitate the responsible development of offshore wind energy in the U.S.
