Monthly Sea Surface Temperature Maps for the Mid-Atlantic
The Mid-Atlantic Regional Association Coastal Ocean Observing System (MARACOOS) has partnered with the Mid-Atlantic Regional Council on the Ocean (MARCO) and the MARCO Portal Team to produce a group of maps displaying average monthly sea surface temperatures based on 15 years of recent data. The maps will allow for users to animate sliding between months of temperature data or manually toggling between them. This map is the first in a series from MARCOS that uses MARACOOS real-time observational data.
