Massachusetts Coal Plant Retrofitted for Offshore Wind
Brayton Point Commerce Center was previously a coal-fired power plant. Recently, it was upgraded to support heavy-lift port operations and receive deep-draft vessels in preparation to accommodate the offshore wind energy industry. Prospective tenants for the commerce center include offshore wind manufacturing, logistics, cable interconnections, maintenance, and other bulk materials.
