Ferry Routes and Terminals Now Available Through MARCO Portal
Users can now find data on the Mid-Atlantic’s robust network of ferry routes and terminals through the Mid-Atlantic Ocean Data Portal. The ferry terminals map shows the origin and departure sites for ferries through the U.S. and even shows information about the terminal’s operation and ownership status. The ferry routes map shows the approximate alignment of routes as determined through GPS and AIS data. Both datasets are provided and maintained by the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Bureau of Transportation Statistics.
