Energy Department Requests Public Input on Environmental Assessment Scope for New England Aqua Ventus I

The Energy Department is requesting public input on the scope of an environmental assessment for New England Aqua Ventus I, an offshore wind energy demonstration project. The department is proposing to authorize federal funding for the University of Maine to design, construct, and commission New England Aqua Ventus I, and an environmental assessment will be prepared pursuant to the requirements of the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). Hurry and submit written comments on the scope of issues and resources and alternatives to be analyzed in the environmental assessment.
